All-Analog, 150g Audiophile Vinyl Release Coming May 10
Newly mastered by Bernie Grundman using an all-analog production process sourced from the original 1/4” master tapes; this all-new First Rays Of The New Rising Sun album will debut on May 10 as a 2LP set pressed on 150-gram audiophile-grade black vinyl at the world-class QRP facilities.
Featuring 17-songs and nearly 70-minutes of music, this collection features some of Jimi Hendrix’s most beloved songs including “Angel,” “Freedom,” “Ezy Ryder,” “Hey Baby (New Rising Sun),” “Dolly Dagger” and many more. Originally released in 1997, the vinyl format has been out of print for many years and this special release marks the very first time the music has been available in this format.
