The Hendrix family and Experience Hendrix Tour are deeply saddened at the passing of guitarist Dani Robinson, our friend and brother.
Dani was known for his incendiary showmanship on stage. His similarities to Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page evoked deep emotion and a desire to hear more.
Experience Hendrix expresses our deepest condolences and heartfelt sorrow at the passing of Jorge Santana, beloved guitar great. We join his brother Carlos, the Santana family, and the world, in mourning this tremendous loss, by celebrating the life of Jorge, known to many who saw him in different lights; a father, a grandfather, a powerful musician, a gentle giant, and a legend in his own right.
The Experience Hendrix Tour family is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lap-steel guitarist, Darick Campbell, our friend and brother. Darick was known for his striking performances as a member of The Slide Brothers. He brought that energy and spirit to the Experience Hendrix 2010 and 2012 Tours.
RIP “Little Richard.” Jimi Hendrix was a member of Little Richard’s backing bands “Royal Company” and “Upsetters.” In addition to touring, Hendrix recorded on the “I Don’t Know What You’ve Got But It’s Got Me” and “Dancing All Around The World” singles.
