Jimi Hendrix appears on the cover of Classic Rock Magazine this month in celebration of his 80th birthday. “We don’t think there’s a rock guitarist… scratch that… a rock musician alive who doesn’t owe some sort of debt to Jimi. Whether in terms of sonics, playing skills or showmanship, we really haven’t seen another of his like.”
