The years 1968 and 1969 were a period of transition for Jimi Hendrix as he continued to explore new sounds. Eddie Kramer and Janie Hendrix spoke with Entertainment Weekly about some of this groundbreaking music found on the new album, Both Sides of the Sky.

“Jimi’s soul was sweet and genuine,” explains Eddie Kramer. “He had such a passion for not only his music but other peoples’ music as well.”
