On June 13, 1970 The Jimi Hendrix Experience rolled into Baltimore, MD to perform at the Civic Center. At the show, an exuberant "Pass It On" opened the performance and set the tone for the evening. "Pass It On" was a precursor of "Straight Ahead" which Jimi would record just four days later at Electric Lady. A powerful "Machine Gun", complete with a superb solo from Jimi confirmed this concert as one of the best of the 1970 US tour.
