Yes. Discrete mono and stereo mixes of Jimi's first two albums were made by Jimi, Chas Chandler, and Eddie Kramer at Olympic Studios in 1967.

Because of the spiraling value among collectors for both the original Track and Reprise mono editions of Axis: Bold As Love, there has been some speculation about whether separate mono/stereo mixes had actually ever been made. They were indeed, as final stereo mixing for the album was done on October 31, 1967 and November 1, 1967. Chandler and Kramer completed a mono mix of the entire album on November 2, 1967. The stereo version of the album was mastered on November 16 and released in the UK the following month.

While there is no date on file for the mono mastering of the original Track release, the Reprise mono version was mastered on December 28, 1967 and released in January 1968.
