Legal problems between the previous administration which oversaw Jimi's catalog and Warner Films precluded the addition of any new material within our 1999 thirtieth anniversary VHS and DVD editions. However, Experience Hendrix was able to replace the soundtrack for both the VHS and DVD editions with new mixes by Eddie Kramer. Unfortunately, we were not permitted to add extra footage.

Worse still, according to Warner Films executives, the previous administration cut and subsequently destroyed original negative film stock in preparing their 1992 film version.

We shall continue to work with Warner Films with the hope of one day bringing more film footage of Jimi's Woodstock performance to light.
